Last week, Arthrosurface, along with the vast majority of other orthopaedic device companies exhibited at the 71st Annual AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) Meeting in New Orleans, LA. With almost 700 exhibiting companies, Arthrosurface had one of the top 10 largest booths. Less than a week before the conference began, we received FDA clearance for the ToeMotion Total Toe System which was a main focus during the conference.
Some of the benefits of the ToeMotion Total Toe System include:
- Inlay arthroplasty for metatarsal & phalangeal joint restoration
- Tapered screw and morse taper interlock for proven rock-solid fixation
- Dual implant curvatures and super smooth surfaces for improved dorsal roll-off
Along with the new ToeMotion System, demonstrations of our additional extremity products were given for interested surgeons. The Shoulder and Knee demo stations were the busiest during the show with many doctors interested in the inlay design and strong fixation of the HemiCAP Systems. We are thankful to the Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons for providing Arthrosurface with a platform to help spread the word about alternatives to total joint replacements and our joint preserving technologies.
