Arthrosurface exhibited at the AAOS last week in Chicago, a ten year milestone for the Company. The AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) is the largest meeting in the world for Orthopedics. While attending the show, surgeon attendees are able to earn CME credits, visit exhibiting companies to learn about the newest technologies, attend seminars and learn about the latest research. The meeting had over 12,000 surgeons from all over the world and another 10,000 support and industry personnel.
At the Arthrosurface booth, NanoFx was the product most requested by surgeons. The NanoFx is an easy to use biological technology that consists of a Handle Instrument and a sterile PleuriStik™. It allows a surgeon to dilate the bone channels so marrow and stem cells can fill the area of missing cartilage. The brand new booth (pictured below in the gallery) was a highly discussed topic among attendees due to its original design, bold graphics and functionality. Overall, Arthrosurface had a great show and we look forward to seeing you at the ISAKOS Meeting in Toronto, Canada the week of May 13th.
